Marketplace Role: Shop Attic operates as a marketplace and is not a party to any contract between buyers and sellers. We facilitate connections but are not responsible for transactions.
Seller Status: All sellers on this platform are private individuals, not businesses. Consumer Rights Act 2015 protections do not apply.
Consumer Rights: Returns and refunds are not automatic and are at the seller's discretion unless the item is significantly misdescribed.
At Shop Attic, we provide a platform for private individuals to buy and sell items. Returns and refunds are handled directly between buyers and sellers.
Returns may be considered if the item you received is significantly not as described, such as:

Refunds are not guaranteed and are at the seller's discretion. If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. We do not force sellers to provide refunds unless legally required.
If you cannot resolve an issue directly with the seller, you can raise a dispute through our Dispute Resolution Center. Our admin team will review the case and make a fair decision, which may include issuing refunds through Stripe.
Buyer Protection is available for eligible purchases made through Shop Attic. If your item does not arrive, is significantly not as described, or the seller is unresponsive, contact our support team for assistance. We may help mediate issues but cannot guarantee outcomes or force refunds.
Handmade or custom items are generally non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or substantially different from the description.
Report missing parcels within 7 days of the estimated delivery date. If confirmed lost, you may be eligible for a refund at the seller's discretion.
Shop Attic is a marketplace facilitator only. We provide the platform for buyers and sellers to connect, but we are not involved in individual transactions or responsible for their outcomes.
