1. Create your account

Sign up for free with your email address, then complete your profile to build trust with other members.

• Add a profile picture and bio
• Verify your email address
• Save a card for faster checkout, and set up payouts if you plan to sell

• Use filters to find exactly what you're after
• Read our terms of use so you know the rules

3. Build your reputation

• Complete sales and purchases promptly
• Communicate clearly and politely

Buying guide

Finding items

• Browse categories: women's, men's and kids' items, electronics, home, entertainment and more.
• Search and filter: by keyword, size, condition, price and location.
• Featured items: check the home page for highlighted listings.
• Favourites: tap the heart on any item to save it for later.

Making a purchase

1. Review the listing: check the photos, description, size, condition and price.
2. Ask questions: message the seller if anything is unclear.
3. Make an offer: suggest a price, or buy at the listed price.
4. Pay securely: check out with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
5. Track delivery: the seller posts within 3 days and you can follow the parcel from your order page.
6. Confirm and review: confirm the item arrived as described, then rate your experience.

Buyer Protection

Purchases made with Buy now include Buyer Protection. Your payment is held securely until the order is complete, and if your item doesn't arrive or is significantly not as described you can open a dispute for our team to review. See buying and payments for details.

Selling guide

Creating listings

• Good photos: show the item from several angles, including any flaws.
• Detailed description: include brand, size, condition, materials and measurements.
• Fair pricing: look at similar items to set a competitive price.
• Clear title: use the words buyers would search for.
• Honest condition: be upfront about any wear, marks or damage.

Managing sales

• Reply quickly: answer messages and offers within 24 hours.
• Post within 3 days: use the prepaid Evri label from your order page. See the shipping guide.
• Get paid: the payment is released once the buyer confirms the item arrived, or automatically a few days after delivery.
• Going away? Switch on holiday mode to pause your listings until you're back.

Good reviews come from clear communication, accurate listings, posting on time and handling any problems fairly. Read the full selling policy.

• Problems with an order: open a dispute from your order page and our team will mediate.
• Questions: use the chat button or email info@shopattic.co.uk.
• Safety concerns: tell us straight away about anything suspicious, and never pay outside ShopAttic.
