Getting Started
ShopAttic is a community marketplace for new and pre-loved items, from clothes and electronics to homeware and kids' things. Declutter, earn extra cash and give good things a second life. Here's how to get going.
1. Create your account
- Tap Sign up and register with your email address or one of the other sign-in options.
- Choose a username and add a profile photo so buyers and sellers know who they're dealing with.
- Verify your email address to finish signing up.
2. Browse and buy
- Browse categories or use the search bar to find specific items.
- Filter by size, condition and price to narrow things down.
- Open an item to see its photos, description and the seller's reviews.
- Tap Buy now to check out, or message the seller first if you have a question.
3. Sell your items
- Tap Sell now to start listing an item.
- Take clear photos from different angles, including any flaws.
- Add a detailed description: brand, size, material and condition.
- Set a fair price and pick a parcel size. Postage is worked out from the parcel size.
- Before your first listing goes live you'll be asked to set up payouts and add the address you'll post from.
4. Ship and get paid
- When an item sells, post it within 3 days using the prepaid Evri label from your order page. Read the shipping guide.
- Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We hold the payment safely until the order is complete.
- Your money is released once the buyer confirms the item arrived as described, or automatically a few days after delivery.
- If something goes wrong, either side can open a dispute and our team will step in.
